About
SOUL BLISS SOMATICS & APRIL OLIVER
This work was born from my own healing journey: one that taught me that true transformation happens when we stop thinking our way out of pain and start feeling our way home.
My Path to Somatic Healing
For years, I worked as a traditional therapist, but something inside me knew there was more. I witnessed how talk therapy often stayed at the surface, while the body held the stories that words couldn’t reach.
Soul Bliss Somatics was created as a sacred space where you can reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom, release old conditioning, and learn to live from your intuition again.
My approach blends evidence-based trauma work with spiritual practices, creating an integrative, holistic path toward healing.

My story with neurodivergence
One reason I am so passionate about this work is because, in becoming more embodied over the past five years since I began this work as a client, I was finally able to recognize and accept my experience of being neurodivergent. Growing up, I was so often made to feel that the things I struggled with were due to some inadequacy in me and that if I could only “get myself together” or try harder, I would be able to overcome those struggles. My own embodiment journey has led to a much greater awareness and acceptance of why my body was responding as it was in various situations and allows me now to work with and in favor of my body rather than against it. In turn I feel much more at ease in my body and more joyful, intuitive, and resilient in all aspects of my life.

Meet April Oliver
SOMATIC EMBODIMENT COACH & LCSW
With over a decade of experience as a therapist and somatic embodiment coach, I specialize in helping clients move beyond survival mode and into conscious, embodied living. My work draws from neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and spiritual wisdom traditions. I guide clients toward nervous system regulation, emotional release, and the ability to trust their intuition as their compass.
Before founding Soul Bliss Somatics, I spent years supporting individuals and families in foster care, addiction recovery, and complex trauma treatment. My own personal healing (through breathwork, somatic therapy, and psychedelic integration) deepened my understanding of how the mind, body, and spirit work together.
Now, my mission is to help others find that same sense of peace, clarity, and empowerment within themselves.

Core Values That Guide My Work

Authenticity
I believe in showing up fully human, real, grounded, and honest.
Healing requires a space where you can be seen and accepted as you are, without performance or pretense.
My role is to model that authenticity and invite it from you in return.

Integrity
I hold deep respect for the sacredness of this work.
Every session is a commitment to ethical, intentional practice: honoring your boundaries, your pace, and your truth.
Integrity means creating safety for your process to unfold naturally.

Empowerment
Healing isn’t about fixing you, it’s about helping you remember your own power.
My goal is to help you feel capable, resilient, and confident in your ability to guide your own growth, long after our work together ends.
